“Invitation-only“

Many may know Fuerteventura as a vacation paradise. However, in recent years, the Canary Island has also developed into a European hub for aerospace and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). It is no coincidence that Aerial Cities 2026 takes place in the main town of Puerto del Rosario. From November 3rd to 5th, thought leaders in the UAM (Urban Air Mobility) industry will gather at the Palacio de Formación y Congresos. Special note: Participation in the C-Level conference is invitation-only.
The technology is available and has already been extensively tested. Additionally, global demand for modern drone technology is rising, particularly in military applications and for protecting critical infrastructure. However, implementing UAS-based business models at an industrial scale is still stalling. But why? More importantly, how can this change?
International Expert Conference
Eszter Kovács and Lorenzo Murzilli aim to answer these and other questions about unmanned systems and tomorrow’s digitized air mobility. They will do this in various ways. While their M&K Global group includes Murzilli Consulting, which provides classic management consulting and services for authorities and ministries, DroneTalks focuses on sharing expertise and organizing workshops (DroneTalks Academy) and events. Events like Aerial Cities.

At Aerial Cities 2026, decision-makers from the global UAS industry will come together in Fuerteventura
This is an internationally valued conference for executives (C-Level) and decision-makers from the fields of drone technology, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), and Urban Air Mobility (UAM). The event aims to bring together key stakeholders behind closed doors to strategically shape the future direction of the AAM and UAS industry.
Perfect Conditions
For its fifth edition, the Palacio de Formación y Congresos in Fuerteventura serves as the venue. The conference is organized in close collaboration with the Parque Tecnológico de Fuerteventura and the Cabildo de Fuerteventura. Thanks to massive investments, the Canary Island has established itself as an ambitious European center for aerospace and Advanced Air Mobility. Showcase projects include infrastructure facilities such as the “Canarias Stratoport” for High Altitude Platforms (HAPs) and UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems). The technology park spans nearly 750,000 square meters and offers excellent working conditions for companies, startups, and public initiatives focused on future-oriented airspace concepts.

In addition to the actual conference program, it is the opportunity for exchange and networking that participants appreciate
However, Aerial Cities is less about what has already been achieved. The program is closely aligned with the current critical challenges in the industry. For example, how to better pave the path from pilot projects to real, scalable operations in the future. Another central topic is regulation as the foundation for future growth, along with integrating U-Space, traditional air traffic management (ATM), and highly automated processes. Moreover, the agenda also focuses on ground infrastructure, certification and safety issues, and dual-use applications.
Interactive Format
High-ranking guests do not come to Fuerteventura just to listen. Beyond networking and exchange, they especially value the chance to actively participate in the proceedings. This dynamic permeates the entire event: from the welcome reception on November 3rd to networking breaks and the gala dinner, participants have continuous opportunities to engage with regulatory authorities, operators, infrastructure providers, investors, and political representatives. Being part of an “invitation-only” event fosters more open, trusting interactions among participants.
This trust can provide support and direction to collectively advance industry development. The UAS and AAM industries find themselves at a “make it or break it” phase. Thus, further progress depends heavily on close collaboration among regulatory agencies, drone operators, municipalities, the industry, and investors. Aerial Cities aims to bring these stakeholders together to form a “closed society,” laying the groundwork for tomorrow’s digital, unmanned air mobility.
