XPONENTIAL Europe Conference 2027 Launches Call for Presentation

The future of autonomous technologies begins where knowledge is shared and innovation becomes visible. Artificial intelligence, robotics and autonomous systems are reshaping industries and opening up new possibilities for mobility, critical infrastructure and public safety. The XPONENTIAL Europe Conference 2027, taking place alongside XPONENTIAL Europe in Düsseldorf from March 16 to 18, 2027, brings together the people driving these developments.

Experts from industry, academia, government agencies and policymakers are invited to contribute to Europe’s leading conference on autonomous systems and robotics by sharing their ideas, research findings and practical experience.

As the international conference accompanying Europe’s leading trade fair for autonomous technologies and robotics, the XPONENTIAL Europe Conference brings together research, industry, policymakers and end users. Under the overarching theme “Trusted Autonomy. Connected Ecosystem”, the conference brings together new ideas, partnerships and solutions for the next generation of autonomous systems. “Every innovation begins with an idea. But it only becomes truly effective when knowledge is shared and real-world experience is exchanged. That is exactly what the XPONENTIAL Europe Conference stands for. With the Call for Presentation, we invite the people who are shaping the future of our industry,” explains Malte Seifert, Director of XPONENTIAL Europe.

The Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), the world’s leading association for autonomous systems, helps shape the conference program through its global expertise.

The Call for Presentation invites English-language technical presentations covering current developments, practical applications and strategic challenges. The conference program has been expanded to eight tracks and reflects the full spectrum of autonomous technologies. Topics include fundamental research, components, artificial intelligence, end-user solutions, regulation, Defense and public safety, maritime autonomy, connected mobility and other future technologies.

International keynotes, technical presentations, panels and interactive discussions provide a platform for new ideas, international networking and direct dialogue. The sessions will take place both in the conference area and on the exhibition stages.

All submissions must be technical in nature and non-commercial. Product or company presentations are not part of the conference program. The submission deadline is August 21, 2026.

UAV DACH Expands Live Demonstrations at XPONENTIAL Europe 2027

Autonomous technologies have the greatest impact when they can be experienced under real-world conditions. XPONENTIAL Europe 2026 brought that vision to life. Among the highlights of the event were the Live Demonstrations by UAV DACH, the European Association for Unmanned Aviation, where unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) showcased their capabilities in Düsseldorf. Demonstrations over the Rhine illustrated how drones can monitor critical infrastructure and reliably perform complex operational scenarios under demanding conditions in an urban environment and in the immediate vicinity of an international airport.

Following the successful premiere, UAV DACH, Europe’s leading association for commercial unmanned aviation and organizer of the European Drone Forum, has already begun preparations for 2027. Between March 16 and 18, 2027, additional operational scenarios will be presented while the coordinated operation of multiple drones and their interaction with land and water transport will be demonstrated for the first time. These Live Demonstrations will show how autonomous systems can operate as an integrated ecosystem to address real-world challenges in mobility, logistics and critical infrastructure.
