Moya Aero has confirmed Embention as the official autopilot provider for its eVTOL

Brazilian aerospace company Moya Aero, focused on developing electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for cargo delivery, has officially confirmed Embention as its first technology supplier. The Spanish company will provide the autonomous flight control system for Moya’s innovative platform.

The vehicle integrates the Veronte Autopilots system developed by Embention, a solution designed to enable advanced autonomous flight capabilities. The selection of this system underscores Moya Aero’s commitment to incorporating safety-critical technologies in its aircraft.

Veronte Autopilots enables safe and autonomous flight operations

Veronte Autopilots is a comprehensive flight control system that supports full autonomy, from vertical take-off and landing to navigation and emergency protocols. Its inclusion in the Moya platform reflects a focus on robustness, reliability, and compliance with global certification standards for advanced air mobility systems.

The integration of this technology is a key step in the ongoing development and validation of the Moya eVTOL, contributing to the aircraft’s performance, operational safety, and making it ready for regulatory approval processes.

This is a key milestone towards achieving operational status

The confirmation of Embention as the first official supplier marks a significant milestone in Moya Aero’s development roadmap. The collaboration brings together expertise from both companies to support the realization of a sustainable, efficient, and autonomous cargo delivery solution.

Both organizations share a vision of advancing urban and regional logistics through innovation in aerial mobility. This partnership forms part of Moya Aero’s broader strategy to engage with technology providers that meet the highest standards of safety and performance in the aerospace industry.

About Moya Aero:

Moya Aero, founded in 2020, is a spin-off of ACS Aviation, a Brazilian aeronautical engineering, aircraft research and development company located in São José dos Campos. This extraordinary experience is behind the Moya eVTOL, the first high-capacity autonomous vehicle built in Latin America.

The Moya team’s experience spans a broad spectrum of the aerospace industry. This knowledge is used to capitalize on market opportunities with aerial vehicle concepts that address many long-standing logistics problems, such as reducing CO2 emissions, connecting remote regions with vital supplies, improving the efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness of crop management, and enabling businesses to connect with customers faster, cheaper, and more straightforwardly. Seed4Science, Hards, and Techstars invested in Moya, and the company has the support of FINEP in developing its prototype. Helisul Drones, ProAero, and Certifica Drones are partners.
