Lukas Hamm-Riff joins CEO Phillipp Volz as Co-CEO
Weßling. Lukas Hamm-Riff, long-standing Accountable Manager at German avionics specialist AEE Aircraft Electronic Engineering GmbH, is taking on as Co-CEO at the company. In his enhanced leadership role, he joins CEO Phillipp Volz. „I share the leadership role as Co-CEO with Phillipp, who still holds the title of CEO. Since the tasks have not really changed, I am happy to continue as before and to keep growing with AEE in a healthy and sustainable manner“, Lukas Hamm-Riff summarizes.

„Since taking over at AEE, Lukas has shouldered all responsibility and transformed the company from a small, ageing business into a modern, high-performing and dynamic partner in the aviation industry. We have progressed from small R & D contracts to large-scale, long-term projects with subsequent production agreements“, Phillipp Volz added. „Lukas has steered AEE towards the future and built up a great team.“
Lukas Hamm-Riff joined AEE after completing a Master’s degree in Economics and law in 2018. In April 2021, the company was sold to Volz Servos GmbH, and from then on he took on the role of Accountable Manager. This included an assessment by the German Federal Aviation Authority (Luftfahrtbundesamt, LBA), partial power of attorney and, after a fairly short time, sole power of representation for AEE. Over the last four years as a subsidiary of Volz Servos, the avionics specialists have grown from a team of nine to a team of over 30 seasoned professionals and exceptional young talents, and have recently moved into new premises. Lukas Hamm-Riff: „As moving forward as Co-CEO at AEE, I am looking forward to working with our team to further develop our technologies, processes, and structures, while maintaining a continued focus on sustainable growth and long-term stability.“
