ePropelled launches Skylark series

  • Deutsch
  • ePropelled, a leader in advanced electric propulsion and intelligent power management technologies, today announced the launch of its new SKYLARK™ Series, a high-performance and fully integrated propulsion system designed for light to medium duty unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Launched at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, SKYLARK™ addresses the growing operational demand for modular design and fast, simple assembly of UAV platforms, enabling increased and more efficient production across defence, industrial and commercial uncrewed applications.

The SKYLARK™ Series combines motor and controller components into a single integrated solution, enabling aircraft designers to integrate propulsion subsystems more efficiently, allowing more compact platform design or increased payload capability. The system also reduces assembly times, reducing the amount of wiring and connections required in production. This reduction in subsystem complexity enables UAV manufacturers to decrease build time per aircraft while improving manufacturing repeatability at scale.

“We are seeing a clear shift toward the need to scale production of more capable UAV platforms without compromising reliability, performance and mission effectiveness,” said Dean Marcarelli, Chief Commercial Officer of ePropelled. “SKYLARK has been engineered specifically to meet those requirements, delivering ePropelled’s renowned power, endurance and integrated control solutions in a compact unit for efficient and fast assembly.”

As part of ePropelled’s eP Unified Architecture™ (ePUA™), SKYLARK™ includes ePConnect™ onboard to integrate with the company’s wider range of matched motors, controllers and intelligent power systems, enabling system-level propulsion management and control. This integrated approach futureproofs ePropelled’s propulsion systems, delivering simplified system integration, improved commissioning and operator control for enhanced mission reliability.

Built using secure and sovereign supply chains, the SKYLARK™ Series is an NDAA-compliant solution for European and NATO-aligned UAV manufacturers and operators. “By combining propulsion and intelligent control within a unified architecture, we are helping our customers achieve greater operational effectiveness while simplifying system integration ,” added Marcarelli. “This is about delivering real capability where it matters most and putting reliable, mission-ready capability into the field, faster.”

The SKYLARK™ Series will be showcased throughout Farnborough 2026, with demonstrations and technical briefings focused on high-power UAV applications and hybrid system integration.
