Belgian Start-up ADLC – A Drone Logistics Company – reaches major milestone with LUC certification, becoming one of the few operators in Europe to enable self-authorized BVLOS drone operations (incl. dangerous goods transport)

ADLC, a pioneering drone logistics company in Belgium, proudly announces that it has obtained a Light UAS Operator Certificate (LUC) for the transport of (dangerous) goods by cargo drones – a major breakthrough that places the company among a very small group of highly advanced drone operators in Europe and beyond.
“This certification represents a critical step forward for ADLC, enabling the company to self-authorize complex drone operations, including the development and deployment of new aerial transport routes and corridors. The achievement significantly accelerates ADLC’s mission to build scalable, safe, and efficient drone logistics solutions for high-value and sensitive cargo” said Rayan Quintaes, Co-founder & CEO at ADLC.
The official handover of the LUC certificate took place during the XPONENTIAL Drone Conference in Germany, where it was presented by Ms. Patricia Van Acker – Head of Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport (Belgium). “This moment marks not only a milestone for ADLC, but also a significant advancement for Belgium’s position in the European drone ecosystem” said Van Acker.
ADLC emphasizes that this achievement would not have been possible without the strong collaboration and support of key partners. The company extends its sincere gratitude to Unifly Consulting for their expertise, guidance, and commitment throughout the certification process.
With this milestone, ADLC reinforces its role as a front-runner in advanced drone logistics, setting new standards for operational excellence and regulatory trust in Belgium and across Europe.
