Ascent AeroSystems and Gremsy JSC Announce Strategic Collaboration for Sensor Integration and Development

At AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2025, the premier event for autonomy and uncrewed systems, Ascent AeroSystems, a global leader in the design and manufacture of rugged, compact, high-performance unmanned aerial systems, and Gremsy, a leading provider of advanced gimbals and payloads, announce a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore sensor integration and development opportunities that leverage the complementary capabilities of both companies.

The Ascent-Gremsy collaboration will focus on exploring integration opportunities between Ascent’s MOSA-ready SPIRIT and NX30 platforms and Gremsy’s payload and gimbal solutions.

Cofounder and President of Ascent AeroSystems Peter Fuchs said, “From the very beginning, we’ve been committed to delivering rugged, high-performance, future-proof UAS solutions that provide unmatched versatility, reliability, and value.

Gremsy’s payload and gimbal offerings, such as the Blue UAS-approved ViO F1, align well with these values. This MoU with Gremsy is a natural extension of our proven collaboration and an exciting opportunity to expand into new markets and introduce innovative new solutions that will keep our customers operating at the cutting edge of UAS technology.”
